Jaipur is the most popular tourist destination not only of Rajasthan but also of India. Jaipur has many attractions like Amer Fort, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and City Palace but one place that provides lots of photographic opportunities is Hawa Mahal.
Hawa Mahal is constructed of pink and red sandstone. It is a five-story palace with 953 small windows designed with intricate latticework. Each story provides a different view and different dimension to this iconic architecture of Jaipur.

I had visited Hawa Mahal in the evening, and I only had an hour to explore before its closure. But I could have easily spent at least half day in there.

I have been to Jaipur umpteen times, but I am yet to visit the Hawa Mahal. Somehow, it has never worked out. Your vibrant captures remind me to visit the place as soon as possible!

Such fun photos! Looks like you had a lovely time. My favourites are the view from out the window overlooking the town below (and across to the cliff) and of course of your fun little niece posing!
Nitin Singhal says
Thanks Lauren!! My niece actually asked us to take her photo and when we were about to take her photo, she started making unique fun poses.

What a stunning spot this is. The pink and red sandstone of Hawa Mahal makes the palace look so interesting. The windows in the palace provide great panoramic views. Thanks for sharing.
Nitin Singhal says
Yes Linda, there are 953 windows in the palace and each window gives a different but amazing view.
