Jaipur is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. And I got to know why, when I spent 3 days in Jaipur last November. I instantly fell in love with this picturesque city. Jaipur city is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well. The first day, we went to Amer Fort which is also the UNESCO World Heritage Site. We experienced a rich history, beautiful Hindu-Mughal architecture, and breathtaking views. After spending the half day in Amer Fort, we stopped for 30 minutes to see Jal Mahal. Afterwards, we went to Hawa Mahal which is the photogenic place in Jaipur.
The next day was started with breakfast at Hawk View restaurant which is a rooftop restaurant and provides a stunning view of Jaipur. After having a light breakfast, we visited City Palace, which once was the seat of Maharaja. We continued our day with the visit to Jantar Mantar Observatory which is also the UNESCO World Heritage Site. After seeing the engineering marvel used to measure time, altitude and many other things, we went for a short visit to the Albert Hall Museum. We rounded up our day in Choki Dhani in a traditional Rajasthani village style.
The next day we went to the Patrika Gate which is the most beautiful spot in Jaipur. Next, we stopped for a short visit to Birla Mandir. Afterwards, we visited Rajmandir Cinema which is one of the most beautiful cinema halls in the world. We rounded up our trip with a short visit to the Doll Museum.
Jaipur has some of the most beautiful forts and architecture in India. I didn’t get a chance to explore the Jaipur fully in 3 days. I can’t wait to go back to Jaipur again.

This has totally inspired me to plan a trip sooner rather than later to Jaipur. Hawa Mahal looks particularly beautiful and interesting. You captured some beautiful photography on your trip too.
Thanks Rebecca for your kind words. Its good to hear that you are thinking about travelling to Jaipur. I am pretty sure you would fall in love with the city and India.
Jaipur has some of the most beautiful views and architectural designs there is. Love these shots you took, truly captured the beauty.
Thanks Bilal 🙂
Not that I need any more inspiration to visit India but Hawa Mahal and Patrika Gate look particularly gorgeous!
Yes, both of them are truly amazing and beautiful. Are you planning to visit India?
I’m thinking to visit Visit Jaipur in October. How many days you recommend to stay there for first timers ?
If days are not any constraint, then I would recommend you to stay at least 4 days in Jaipur. In 4 days you would be able to visit all the famous attractions and you would also get time to shop as well.
The archways, details and colours are all so inspiring! I need to visit Jaipur
Jaipur is a very colourful and vibrant city. It is full of tradition, culture and history.
