Changi Lounge At Changi Airport (Jewel) – Review

May 13, 2023 by Nitin Singhal Leave a Comment

Changi Lounge Review | Changi Airport Jewel Terminal Lounge Review | Changi Airport Lounge Review

Changi Lounge, situated in the Jewel Terminal of Changi Airport in Singapore, is a spacious and modern lounge designed to provide travelers with a relaxing space to unwind before their flight. Unlike a typical airport terminal, Jewel Terminal does not accommodate flight arrivals or departures but instead features a vast shopping and dining complex where visitors can find shops of every brand and a variety of restaurants.

Location

Located on level 1 near Lift Lobby E, Changi Lounge is easily accessible from Terminals 1, 2, and 3. After checking in your luggage at your departing terminal, follow the signs to Jewel Terminal. Note that while there is a check-in counter at Jewel, it is available for select destinations only, and unfortunately, India is not included.

Note: Leave for Jewel before clearing immigration. Once immigration is done, you cannot go back. Clearing the immigration is as good as leaving the country and hence cannot leave the airport or change terminals.

Check-In

During our visit, Changi Lounge was relatively empty, allowing for a smooth check-in process. To access the lounge, we used our Priority Pass, which granted us access to all of its amenities.

Interior

The lounge’s contemporary design provides a spacious and comfortable atmosphere for travelers to relax and enjoy their time before their flight. A variety of chairs, each with different shapes and colors, are available for guests to sit on, and there is no separate dining area.

Food

Changi Lounge serves only desserts and beverages; no snacks or main courses are available. Guests can order up to three desserts and three beverages, which will be delivered directly to their seat upon request.

Mocha Tea, Peppermint Tea, Butter Croissant and Double Chocolate Chip Muffin

During our visit, we sampled a butter croissant, double chocolate chip muffin, peppermint tea, and mocha tea. The desserts were all delectable, and we refrained from ordering more as we wanted to save our appetites for the SATS Premier Lounge at Terminal 3.

Final Thoughts

Rain Vortex at Jewel Terminal of Changi Airport

Jewel Terminal is a destination in and of itself, featuring an array of shops, gardens, and even an indoor waterfall. Changi Lounge is the perfect spot to rest and recharge after exploring all that Jewel Terminal has to offer

In conclusion, Changi Lounge offers travelers a quiet and serene space to unwind before their flights, making it a top choice for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the airport.
