Gardens By The Bay Attractions

Gardens By The Bay is spread over 101 hectares and comprises many gardens and a couple of conservatories.
The main attractions in Gardens By The Bay are:-

Flower Dome

Flower Dome is the cooled conservatory and the largest glass greenhouse in the world. The plant species from different parts of the world are on display here.

Take a stroll around the garden and click many photos alongside beautifully displayed plants and flowers. If you are into flowers and plants, you will love Flower Dome.

Opening Hours – 9 AM to 9 PM.
Suggested Duration – 1 hour
Ticket Cost – Flower Dome and Cloud Forest combo ticket – SGD 53 or ~INR 3180 (Adult), SGD 40 or ~INR 2400 (Child).

Cloud Forest

Cloud Forest is another cooled conservatory and features one of the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls. It is a man-made forest with lush vegetation and dramatic vistas. It features 35 metres tall Cloud Mountain. The mist is started at the start of every hour to replicate the cool moist atmosphere of tropical mountain regions.

Visitors generally move to the top of the mountain through an elevator and then descend the mountain through a circular path observing different plants and encountering waterfall multiple times.

Gardens By The Bay Ticket – Klook

During our visit to Gardens By The Bay in September 2022, a large section of Cloud Forest was closed for the construction of the Avatar Experience that eventually opened to visitors a couple of months later.

Opening Hours – 9 AM to 9 PM.
Suggested Duration – 1 hour
Ticket Cost – Flower Dome and Cloud Forest combo ticket – SGD 53 or ~INR 3180 (Adult), SGD 40 or ~INR 2400 (Child).

Supertree Grove

Supertree Grove is the main attraction in Gardens By The Bay. Supertrees are futuristic tree-like structures and are an iconic landmark of Singapore. There are about 12 supertrees in Supertree Grove, each spanning 25-50 metres in height.

The evening is the time to visit Supertree Grove when Supertrees are lit with many different colours.

An elevated walkway called OCBC Skyway connects the two of the tallest Supertrees. Visitors can take a stroll through OCBC Skyway for a fee to enjoy the panoramic views of the garden. The skyway is mostly crowded and the views are hindered by many cables supporting the skyway.

Supertree Observatory is the newest attraction at Supertree Grove. The observatory is housed inside the tallest supertree which is 50 metres high. It has an observation deck and offers an unhindered panoramic view of the garden.

Travel Tip: Both Supertree Observatory and OCBC Skyway are similar attractions and one can be skipped for the other. In our opinion, both attractions can be skipped given the high price and neither of them adds much value to the overall experience of Supertrees and Gardens By The Bay.

Opening Hours – 9 AM to 9 PM
Suggested Duration – 30 minutes to 1 hour
Ticket Cost – Supertree Grove – Free. OCBC Skyway – SGD 10 or ~INR 600 (Adult), SGD 6 or ~INR 360 (Child). Supertree Observatory – SGD 14 or ~INR 840 (Adult), SGD 10 or ~INR 600 (Child)

Garden Rhapsody

Garden Rhapsody is a 15-minute light and sound show carried out twice every evening at Supertree Grove. Lie down on the ground and get dazzled by the spectacularly synchronized show that brings Supertrees to life with music and light. This is a must-do experience in Singapore.

Opening Hours – 7:45 PM, 8:45 PM
Suggested Duration – 15 minutes
Ticket Cost – Free

Floral Fantasy

Floral Fantasy is the most Instagrammable attraction in Gardens By The Bay. It is a thematic indoor garden featuring hanging flowers, a rain oasis, a mini waterfall, a human tree structure, and colourful poison dart frogs. It is also very popular for wedding photoshoots. The garden is very small and can be easily covered in 30 minutes with ample time for photos in between. The entry fee is a bit on the higher side and can be skipped.

Opening Hours – 10 AM to 7 PM
Suggested Duration – 30 minutes
Ticket Cost – SGD 15 or ~INR 900 (Adult), SGD 9 or ~INR 540 (Child)
