People often make the mistake of visiting Singapore for only a couple of days but Singapore has lots of things to see and do. We visited Singapore for 9 days, and we were not bored even for a day.

I think one should visit Singapore for at least four days to see the highlights of Singapore.
Here is my suggested Singapore 4 day itinerary to help you plan your next Singapore trip.
Table of Contents
Day-1
Exploring temples of Chinatown and Little India
Start the first day of your Singapore 4 day itinerary with a visit to the most famous neighbourhood of Singapore – Chinatown and Little India. There are many Chinese and Indian temples with beautiful architecture. Some of the famous ones are Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Thian Hock Keng Temple in Chinatown, and Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple in Little India.
You can also buy souvenirs from the Chinatown street market. Chinatown is the best place to buy souvenirs in Singapore.
Lunch in Little India
Little India is the best place to find vegetarian food in Singapore. You will find many North and South Indian restaurants there. Dine at one of the many South Indian restaurants for budget meals. Go to Tekka centre (hawker centre) for even more cheaper meals.
Merlion Park
After a hearty lunch in Little India, go to Merlion Park and snap a few photos with the water-throwing statue of the Singapore mascot.
Marina Bay Sands
Visit SkyPark Observation Deck in Marina Bay Sands in the evening to get the panoramic views of Singapore. Spend a couple of hours there and watch the sunset from there.
Finish your day with the free 15-minute light and water laser show held at the Marina Bay promenade.

Day-2
Universal Studios
Spend the second day of your Singapore 4 day itinerary on a visit to Sentosa Island. The first stop in Sentosa is Universal Studios.
Reach the entry gate of Universal Studios before opening time and ride as many rides as possible before the afternoon crowd.
Let out the inner kid in you and spend close to six hours enjoying the many theme rides and Meet & Greet sessions.

Wings of Time
Next go to the beach station to attend the Wings of Time, an award-winning night show. The show lasts only 20 minutes but the use of animation along with laser, water, and fire effects will leave a lasting effect on you. Fireworks at the end of the show are a fitting finish to your hectic yet fun day.
Day-3
Singapore Wildlife Parks
Singapore has four wildlife parks namely Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, and Bird Paradise.
First visit Singapore Zoo and spend your morning and most of the afternoon exploring different zones in the zoo. Keep track of the animal shows schedule held in Singapore Zoo. Splash Safari show is the best of all the shows.
Next head to Bird Paradise to see different bird species from all over the world. There are more than more than 5000 birds of 400 species in Bird Paradise.
Both the zoo and bird park are the best of all the wildlife parks in Singapore but they are also big and require lots of walking. For a more relaxed day, replace Bird Paradise with River Wonders Park.
